Three years, 34 linemen and the Titans still struggling to protect QB

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- On Dec. 22, 2012, Tennessee Titans backup guard Mitch Petrus was in a cab that was in an accident the night before the Titans played the Packers in Green Bay.

He was able to play the next day, and the Titans were relieved. That Tennessee exhaled because Petrus could play was a sign of the times.

The Titans played three reserve offensive linemen against the Packers -- Petrus at left guard, Deuce Lutui at right guard and Byron Stingily at right tackle.

In a 55-7 loss, the Titans yielded seven sacks.
