Tennessee Titans: Something about the Superdome

After dropping their first four games at Nissan Stadium to open the season, the Tennessee Titans look to halt a six game losing streak in their home away from home…the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

In fact, not only are the Titans undefeated in that stadium, but unpredictable events unfolded for the franchise after each of their visits to the voodoo city.

In their inaugural 1999 season, Tennessee entered the Superdome without their leader and best player, quarterback Steve McNair. Backup qb Neil O’Donnell threw for two touchdowns in his absence, and the defense also chipped in with a score of their own.
