The Tennessee Titans largest holes right now are EDGE and interior offensive line, but those positions have vastly different price tags.
Over the last few years, the guard and center price tag has risen but it is nowhere near as expensive as it is to bring in a free agent EDGE. Rightfully so, as the league has shifted into more of a passing league the importance of sacks and pressures has been emphasized.
I don’t know whether the fact that several EDGEs were hitting the market this year made people think that the position would be cheaper, but you need to know that if you are trying to bring in an above average starter you better be willing to make at least a 3-4 year commitment and be ready to pay $14+ million.
