Derrick Henry broke out in a big way during the 2019 season. The former second-round pick of the 2016 NFL Draft spent the bulk of his first two seasons with the Tennessee Titans in a backup role behind DeMarco Murray.
After the 2017 season, Murray announced his retirement, and, suddenly, it was Henry’s time to shine. He eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career on 215 carries and crossed the goal line 12 times during the 2018 season, all the while sharing carries with the newly-acquired Dion Lewis.
