July 4th is an underrated holiday in the world of a Tennessee Titans fan. The only more underrated holiday is the NFL Draft, so why not combine the two.
When you hit July 4th, you get to breathe a sigh of relief as a football fan. Not only are you usually off work and get to hang out with family and friends, but you are already out of the summer doldrums.
There is no more talking about OTAs, it is all about looking forward to actual training camp. Take a look at the breakdown of major NFL dates between now and the season:
-July 26th: Training Camp starts for the Tennessee Titans (22 days away)
-August 1st: Hall of Fame Game (28 days away)
-August 8th: Tennessee Titans first preseason game (35 days away)
-September 8th: Tennessee Titans first game (66 days away)
To put that into context, it has already been 150 days since the Super Bowl so we are well past the halfway point in this awful offseason waiting game.
