Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel made a shoddy call on a crucial fourth down situation in the Week 8 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Sound familiar?
Vrabel’s fourth down calls have been concerning all season long, and once again he made a bad decision on Sunday.
With the Titans holding a 27-23 lead and in field goal range with under four minutes left to play, Vrabel decided to run a fake field goal run with punter Brett Kern that ultimately failed miserably.
Not only did it give the Bucs new life and a chance to take the lead with a touchdown as opposed to just being able to tie the game with one, but Kern got destroyed on the play and didn’t look so hot walking off the field.
