An interesting article posted by Danny Heifetz of The Ringer last week outlined how second-year NFL head coaches have been getting to the Super Bowl in recent years, but a shot was taken at the Tennessee Titans in it.
The intriguing part is that it pertains directly to the Titans, as head coach Mike Vrabel is in his second season, and second-year head coaches have taken teams to the Super Bowl in each of the last three years.
Those head coaches are as follows: Los Angeles Rams’ Sean McVay in 2018, Philadelphia Eagles’ Doug Pederson in 2017, and the Atlanta Falcons’ Dan Quinn in 2016.
