I will be the first person to say that I was hard on the Tennessee Titans secondary last year. I didn’t like the fact that Jason McCourty regressed without Alterraun Verner beside him, and I didn’t like the way Michael Griffin and George Wilson provided no real impact on the back end. Fast forward today, and I am actually excited to see how this season plays out at the second level.
Yesterday the Houston Texans cut hard hitting safety D.J. Swearinger for allegedly saying that he wouldn’t play special teams. When he was subject to claims, eight teams (you know, 25% of the league) all tried to claim him.
