Safeties coach Steve Jackson brings Titans accountability and a tie to best season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- For the past couple of years, many old Titans have said they felt a real disconnect from the franchise.

With the new safeties coach on Mike Mularkey’s staff, they are getting a direct link to their most successful season.

Steve Jackson was a Oilers/Titans cornerback from 1991-99 and did key work for the team in its Super Bowl season.

He’s coached for Buffalo, Washington and Detroit.
