Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle is reporting that former Texans defensive backs coach Anthony Midget will be taking the same job on Mike Vrabel’s staff in Tennessee. Midget will replace Kerry Coombs, who recently went back to Ohio State as the Buckeyes new defensive coordinator after two years on the Titans staff.
The 41-year old former Virginia Tech cornerback just finished his sixth season of coaching in the NFL, all on Bill O’Brien’s staff in Houston. He coached side by side with Vrabel on the Texans staff for four years from 2014 to 2017.
