According to Paul Kuharsky, the Tennessee Titans have signed general manager Jon Robinson to an extension that will carry through 2022. This deal will link new head coach Mike Vrabel together with Robinson, giving each party a five year deal.
It’s a move that makes plenty of sense, giving the Titans’ decision-makers job security.
Through just two full seasons, Jon Robinson has flipped the Titans from a bottom tier roster in the NFL to one that is playoff ready. His moves to fix up the offensive line, adding veterans like DeMarco Murray and Rishard Matthews, along with patching up the secondary with Kevin Byard and Logan Ryan sent the Titans to the playoffs in just year two of his tenure.
