NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The results haven't changed, but Tennessee Titans' players don’t hesitate to pledge a commitment to staying the course.
And the franchise views this as a good thing.
That flawed thinking is at least a small part of the root of the problem for the Titans, who fell to 2-9 with a 24-17 loss to the Raiders Sunday. Tennessee has not visited the playoffs since 2008 and has not posted a winning record since 2011.
Player execution, player acquisition, and schemes are all a concern for the Titans.
