NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Mike Mularkey is quiet by nature, more a listener than a talker.
Thrust to the front of the room and into the spotlight after being elevated to interim coach by the Titans on Tuesday, he’s had to talk plenty.
“I don’t talk a lot; I have because I’ve had to this week. I’ve had to go though schedules, I’ve had to, obviously, talk about the direction we want to go. I want them to understand if I am saying something to them, it’s important that they listen to me. They’ve been very attentive, I think it’s been really well-received.
