The Tennessee Titans opened up their 2017 preseason campaign last Saturday night against the New York Jets. In a 7-3 thriller, quarterback Alex Tanney was unable to rally the Titans to a victory. While the Jets were more of a test than many imagined, the Titans’ next opponent is a measuring stick.
The Carolina Panthers are a very talented team that was in the Super Bowl just two seasons ago. With much of the same team intact, the Panthers look likely to sniff the playoffs once again in 2017. They got off to a good start with a dominating 27-17 win over the Houston Texans last Wednesday.
