On 106th day on the job, Titans GM Jon Robinson has benefit of the doubt

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jon Robinson has been the Tennessee Titans general manager for 106 days.

Hired by Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk Jan. 14, Robinson came in as a highly regarded talent evaluator.

We’ve seen him make some significant transactions in adding 10 players so far, highlighted by running back DeMarco Murray, center Ben Jones and receiver Rishard Matthews.

But Robinson is an executive who intends to build through the draft.

Expectations are high because he’s done executive-of-the-year type work so far, with the inexpensive trade for Murray and the big trade of the No.
