Mike Vrabel said today that Nicholas Petit-Frere will work with the ones at left tackle in practice this week. He took over for Andre Dillard after halftime in the Tennessee Titans' loss to the Baltimore Ravens in London. NPF wasn’t great but was better than Dillard has been this season - not exactly a high bar, but it is something.
The Dillard experiment has been a failure. It wasn’t a terrible signing. There was reason to believe that Dillard had a chance to be a serviceable left tackle. It just didn’t work out that way.
