The former Oregon quarterback and No. 2 overall pick is playing in his first live NFL action tonight against the host Atlanta Falcons.
The fledgling Tennessee Titans signal-caller already wishes he could have his first few drives back. That's because he has already coughed up the ball twice.
First, Mariota tossed an interception to Atlanta's Justin Durant, who returned the ball inside the Titans' 9-yard line with six minutes and 25 seconds to play in the first quarter.
But things only got worse from there.
On the next drive, Jonathan Babineaux hit Mariota during a pass attempt, and the quarterback fumbled the football.
