Titans head coach Mike Mularkey announced that quarterback Marcus Mariota is considered “day to day” with a hamstring injury. Mariota left the game against the Houston Texans after injuring his hammy late in the first half.
He went through an MRI today. Mularkey said that the results “weren’t surprising” and he compared the issue to that of DeMarco Murray’s in the preseason.
Mularkey said that the decision to play Mariota could linger on until Sunday. He added that the team will have a gameplan for both Mariota and backup Matt Cassel.
