Jim Irsay told The Athletic that running back Jonathan Taylor is having surgery on his injured thumb in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The star running back is expected to miss 2 to 3 weeks. That, of course, means that he will miss Sunday’s game between the Colts and Tennessee Titans.
While that seems like good news for the Titans at first glance, you might remember that the Colts backup running back, Zach Moss, carried the ball 23 times for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first meeting between these two teams. That game was Taylor’s first game back from his “injury” that held him out Indy’s first four games.
