The Tennessee Titans wanted to see their starters get some work in during Sunday’s preseason finale victory over the New Orleans Saints. That did not include every member of the defense, however. Starting EDGE rushers Harold Landry and Arden Key did not play a single snap. Fourth-year defensive end Rashad Weaver and rookie seventh-rounder Jaylen Harrell earned the starts in their place.
Weaver and Harrell played almost exclusively together, totaling 24 and 23 snaps respectively. While Harrell continued to flash legitimate upside, Weaver struggled to make an impact, a recurring theme throughout the three exhibition games.
