NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Nashville is a very good place to be recognizable or famous.
Music City has a bit of a code. No matter the pull of a celebrity in public, we try to leave them alone. (I once resisted the temptation of approaching Robert Plant at brunch.)
Marcus Mariota said he hoped to hit some events at the CMA Music Festival downtown this week. The annual event brings plenty of out-of-towners here, out-of-towners who may not be so willing to pass on an encounter with a celebrity.
That doesn’t change the default that comes with being recognizable in Nashville.
