NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Dexter McCluster is a test case for how much of a meritocracy the Titans are as they head into Mike Mularkey’s first full season as coach.
But McCluster isn’t alone. To a degree, cornerback Antwon Blake is a similar guy. Had Kendall Wright not missed virtually all of camp with a hamstring issue, Harry Douglas would make the list. Running back Anton Andrews is also on it.
General manager Jon Robinson has control of the 53-man roster. After just one offseason of player additions, he does not have an overflowing pool of players from which to choose.
