NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans are coming off a good-but-not-great 9-7 season, so head coach Mike Vrabel's motto this year is simple: "Good to great." The most integral player in the Titans' quest for greatness is fifth-year quarterback Marcus Mariota. The arrow was pointing up for Mariota after he led Tennessee to the second round of the playoffs in 2017. But after a forgetful 2018 season -- Mariota finished with a Total QBR of 53.2 (the lowest since his rookie year) and the Titans missed the playoffs -- Mariota is looking to bounce back.
Through four seasons, Mariota has yet to register a 3,500-yard passing season or make a Pro Bowl.
