The Tennessee Titans have made a change at quarterback, with the team announcing that Ryan Tannehill will take over for Marcus Mariota in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Mariota struggled mightily in Week 6, giving way to Tannehill late in the third quarter of the Titans’ shutout loss to the Denver Broncos.
While the Titans still failed to score any points with Tannehill on the field, the former Miami Dolphins quarterback did manage to move the ball with more success than Mariota.
Tannehill finished 13-of-16 for 144 yards and one interception, while Mariota completed just 7-of-18 passes for 63 yards and two picks.
