Former Texas quarterback Vince Young was arrested late Sunday night in Austin on a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated.
Young was booked into Travis County Jail at 12:46 a.m. Monday after a traffic stop two miles north of the Texas campus. His bail was set at $2,000.
Young led Texas to a national championship victory over USC in the 2006 Rose Bowl, was runner-up for the Heisman Trophy and went on to play six seasons in the NFL, twice earning Pro Bowl honors.
