NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Antonio Andrews’ tough running Sunday against Atlanta enhanced his fan-favorite status.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt said the effort will earn Andrews more chances.
But all indications are that the Titans remain dead set on using packages that limit the potential for any running back to get a high percentage of the carries
Andrews missed the first two games of the season with a hamstring issue.
Of the team’s 151 rushing attempts, Bishop Sankey has 39, Andrews has 38 and Dexter McCluster has 35.
Fifth-round rookie David Cobb hopes to make it even harder for Whisenhunt to sort out how to distribute carries.
