As the NFL Draft approaches, the picture that is the Tennessee Titans roster is starting to look a little clearer. And, after Tuesday, the payroll is starting to look a little smaller as well.
On Tuesday, veterans Da’Norris Searcy and Harry Douglas agreed to paycuts to remain with the Titans, at least for now.
Searcy was originally scheduled to make $5.625 million in 2017, and $6.125 in 2018. He will now be making $3.4 million in 2017, and $3.8 million in 2018. This move definitely makes a lot of sense, mainly because of the signing of free agent safety Johnathan Cyprien.
