Could knee sprain ultimately help Marcus Mariota's mechanics?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Could dealing with a sprained left knee ultimately help Marcus Mariota with his mechanics?

It’s different for everybody, and Mariota played four games at the end of the 2013 season at Oregon on what he said was a similar sprain so he has experience.

But the Tennessee Titans' senior-most quarterback, No. 3 Charlie Whitehurst, said when he suffered a grade 2 sprain of his left knee in training camp in San Diego in 2012 the resulting awareness of mechanics was helpful.
