Corey Davis was one of PFF’s highest-graded WRs coming out of college

Third-year pro Corey Davis came into the league as one of the most talented prospects in recent history. The wide receiver put together an amazing collegiate career at little known Western Michigan University, where he broke 1,400 receiving yards and 12-plus touchdowns for three straight seasons.

In Pro Football Focus’ recent release of their highest-graded NFL prospects since 2014, Davis was given honorable mention at the wideout position. Davis narrowly missed out behind current Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb and Alabama alum Amari Cooper.

Using the Rams’ pick from the trade in the previous year, the Titans used the fifth pick in the 2017 NFL Draft to select Davis after the Titans struggled during their entire franchise history to put top talent at the wide receiver position.
