ESPN’s Turron Davenport awarded wide receiver Corey Davis the MVP for the Tennessee Titans’ training camp. Davis’ improvements in the offseason are vital for the Titans’ success this season.
Davis posted a solid sophomore season, with a team-leading 65 catches for 891 yards and four touchdowns.
Davis faced a league-high 43 percent of his targets while being covered by a top-25 corner last season, according to PFF, which shows he can still put up numbers in the face of tough coverage.
Despite showing his ability to produce as the first option in a run-heavy offense last season, Davis needed the offseason to work on his skills.
