MOBILE, Ala. -- Teammates who have success together tend to be loyal, so an endorsement of one by another comes with a caveat.
Even so, I thought the rave review former Steelers and Titans safety Chris Hope offered for new Titans secondary coach Deshea Townsend was notable.
The two were teammates in Pittsburgh's secondary from 2002-2005.
Hope recently completed a year-long internship in the Titans pro scouting department.
Here's his full review of Townsend:
"He's going to bring knowledge of the game, most importantly. He's going to bring some fun. He's going to bring championship experience; he's won two Super Bowls, played in three.
