The dominance that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has maintained over the Tennessee Titans for years now has come to an end.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter shocked the world on Saturday night when he reported that Luck would be retiring from the NFL, citing the fact that Luck is “mentally worn down, and now checking out.”
Filed to ESPN: Andrew Luck has informed the Colts he is retiring from the NFL, per source. There will be a press conference Sunday to make it official, but Luck is mentally worn down, and now checking out.

It seemed as though Luck was heading for another season of mystery involving another ailment he was dealing with, which is something we’ve seen before.
