The Titans made their first of a few splashes on the free agent market this offseason by signing veteran slot receiver Adam Humphries to a four year, 36 million dollar deal. Reports later surfaced that Humphries chose the Titans over an offer from the New England Patriots.
So why would Humphries choose to play with the Titans over the champion Patriots? Well, according to Humphries, it was partially due to Tom Brady’s age.
“Obviously, he’s the G.O.A.T. That’s that simple,” Humphries told Travis Haney of The Athletic.
