People are understandably down on Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota in fantasy football this season, but there are reasons for optimism.
As it stands now, Mariota is going undrafted in many leagues and can be had for free through waivers. The fears are that he’s injury prone and that the Titans offense normally doesn’t produce many big fantasy assets in the passing game.
Another concern is that Mariota is dealing with yet another new offensive coordinator, but the Titans have done a good job in keeping things in-house and hiring Arthur Smith as the offensive coordinator, which means Mariota will have some continuity from last year.
