The Tennessee Titans are reportedly losing pass-rusher Arden Key for six games. Key is being suspended for violating the league’s drug-enhancing policy, according to Paul Kuharsky. It represents a massive blow to a Titans defense that’s already thin at the outside linebacker position.
Key’s early-season absence means everybody behind him on the depth chart gets bumped up a spot. For now, Rashad Weaver should be considered the starter opposite Harold Landry. Veteran signing Shane Ray, seventh-round rookie Jaylen Harrell, and sophomore UDFAs Thomas Rush and Caleb Murphy now have better opportunities to capture rotational roles.
