To close out day two, the Tennessee Titans have selected Washington cornerback Elijah Molden with the 100th overall pick. The need adds depth to the cornerback room, following the addition of Caleb Farley in the first round.
Molden now joins Kristian Fulton, Janoris Jenkins, Kevin Johnson and Farley, completing a total makeover of that room. He stands in 5-9, 192 pounds, and was a four-year contributor at Washington. His best season came back in 2019, where he was able to snag four interceptions.
Here’s UW Dawg Pound’s take on Molden.
He’s been pretty frequently compared to Tyrann Mathieu and it’s not too hard to see why: Molden’s undersized, instinctual, and unafraid.
