With the 168th selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans selected D’Andre Walker, a pass rusher out of Georgia. Walker, a 6-2, 251 pound outside linebacker, registered 7.5 sacks in his final season as a Bulldog. He started for two full seasons in Athens.
The Titans chose to address the interior defensive line position in the first round, adding Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons with the 19th overall selection. Edge got pushed down the board a bit, as Jon Robinson went receiver, interior offensive line and safety with the next few picks.
