PHILADELPHIA – The Indianapolis Colts selected Temple's (Decatur, Georgia) in the second round of the 2019 National Football League Draft on Friday evening. He was the 34th overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, the first for the Colts and the first for Temple.
Temple has had at least one player drafted in four straight seasons for the first time since 1989. Temple has now produced an NFL-caliber defensive back in each of the past four years - Ya-Sin, (N.Y. Giants, 2018), (Indianapolis, 2017), and (Baltimore, 2016).
Following three seasons at Presbyterian and one season with the Temple Owls, Ya-Sin finished his collegiate career appearing in 45 games and starting in 35.
