PHILADELPHIA - This past weekend, the Temple women's tennis team took a break from preparing for the spring season and helped served those in the Philadelphia community.
Over the weekend, the team and head coach Steve Mauro volunteered at the Sunday Morning Breakfast Mission, serving meals to those in need.
"This is a program that both of our teams have been involved with the past four or five years. We feel very honored and privileged to help out to our home area of North Philadelphia," said Mauro. "We're grateful for the position we're in and giving back is something we try to do on a regular.
