Women's Tennis Falls to George Washington in Home Finale

PHILADELPHIA – In the Owls' final regular-season match of the season, a final score of 4-3 handed Temple women's tennis a tough loss against the George Washington Colonials. With four of the six singles flights pushing into third sets, three Owls were able to pull through with big wins.

The Owls dropped the doubles point despite a victory from Alina Abdurakhimova and Yana Khon in the first position over Taylor Nederlander and Marie-Louise Decamps. The Colonials defeated the Owls in the remaining two doubles flights.

In singles play, Galina Chernykh was able to grab a huge win over Mells Bayraktaroglu in the second slot.
