TULSA, Okla. – Temple women's tennis (11-6), the eighth seed in the American Athletic Conference tournament fell just short of ninth-seeded South Florida (6-15) in the AAC quarterfinals on Wednesday evening. The Owls and the Bulls put it all on the line, battling it out until the very last point.

- The Owls opened the match with strong doubles performances from the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. Stefaniya Surikova and Jamie Wei earned a 6-1 win from the No. 1 spot while Veronika Kulhava and Yining Tian triumphed 6-4 to earn the team doubles point.
