PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's tennis team improved to 8-7 on the season with today's 7-0 win over Rider in the first match of the year played on campus at the TU Pavilion. This was the second consecutive 7-0 victory for the Owls in a spring season plagued by injuries, illnesses, and bad weather. Playing with a full complement of players today - sophomore Kristina Titova returned to the lineup today after missing the last two matches with a shoulder injury - the Owls dominated. No player dropped more than three games in any singles set, and the team took the doubles point in dominate fashion.
