PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's soccer loses on the road Sunday afternoon to the Binghamton Bearcats, 3-1. The Owls drop to 2-5 on the season, while the Bearcats advance to 4-2-2.
The Bearcats struck first as Leighann Bennett took a pass from Sam O'Malley and drilled it inside the post, just past freshman goalkeeper . The goal came during the 18 minute.
Temple rebounds during the 36 minute when redshirt-junior smashed a one-timer off of a crosser from sophomore to tie the game at one. Junior also assisted on the play. The score marked Cunningham's first goal, McGlinn's first assist, and McKeown's second assist of the season.
