PHILADELPHIA- In a tight fought Big 5 rivalry match for its home opener, Temple (1-1) ended up suffering its first loss of the season to La Salle (1-0-1), by a final score of 2-0. The Owls showed a tenacious style of play as the contest remained scoreless all the way until the 82nd minute, when La Salle cashed in on a few late goals.
Keys to the Match
