PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's soccer (5-8-3, 2-6-0 AAC) dropped to top-seeded South Florida (11-3-2, 6-1-1 AAC), 2-0 on Thursday night at the Temple Sports Complex. The Owls remained persistent in their offensive pursuit, but it was not enough to combat the Bulls 2-0 finish.
How it Happened
- Despite a dominant defensive effort out of the gate from the Owls, the Bulls drew a foul inside the box to earn a penalty kick. Rosalia Muino Gonzalez capitalized on the opportunity, giving South Florida the go-ahead goal 18 minutes into play.
