PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Temple University women's rowing team had a last-minute change of venue, but the Owls still nabbed a pair of victories, racing Drexel, Duquesne, and the Princeton lightweights on Saturday afternoon. With the Schuylkill River unrowable because of heavy rains on Friday, the Tigers stepped up to host the five-race event on Lake Carnegie.

Temple grabbed victories in the second varsity eight and second varsity four races, while grabbing second in both the varsity four and third varsity eight races.

In the second varsity eight race, Temple rowed to a six-second victory, finishing the course in 7:44.
