PHILADELPHIA – After posting a near record-breaking 193.375 score in its home opener last weekend, Temple women's gymnastics is up for its biggest challenge yet. The Owls are hitting the road for a quad meet that features two nationally-ranked opponents and a long-time rival. No. 25 West Virginia will play host to the Owls along with #7 Denver and Towson. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29 inside the WVU Coliseum.
Temple's first home meet nearly saw a new school record. Led by a 48.5 floor rotation, the Owls were able to post the program's second-highest team score and top the Ursinus Bears by a three-point margin.
