Easton, Pa. – Temple women's cross country took first place overall at the Leopard Invitational, hosted by Lafayette College, on Saturday. Freshman Grace Moore bested the field, finishing the 6K race in 22:17.2. Within eight seconds, sophomore Katie Leisher crossed the finish line earning second place (22:25.7).
"At the beginnings of the race, a runner from Lafayette was far in the lead," head coach James Snyder explained. "Grace and Katie worked together to catch up to her and eventually were able to run ahead."
