PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team hosts conference-foe Tulane on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at McGonigle Hall. The game will serve as a breast cancer awareness game as part of the WBCA's "Play4Kay" initiative, benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Coach Kay Yow, former North Carolina State University head women's basketball coach, was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987, and passed away on January 24, 2009, after facing her third bout with the disease. The Owls will be wearing pink and all fans are encouraged to as well. Donations can be made at the game or online at: http://www.
