PHILADELPHIA -- Temple women's basketball head coach Tonya Cardoza has announced the hiring of Crayton Jones to the Owls' coaching staff. Jones, who will begin his duties as assistant coach on June 1, is no stranger to the American Athletic Conference, having spent the last two seasons coaching at East Carolina.
"I'm absolutely ecstatic to add Crayton to our staff," noted Cardoza. "Not only will he be a passionate and relentless recruiter, he is very familiar with The American and the caliber of player needed to be successful at this level."
In two seasons with the Pirates, Jones' efforts helped to bolster ECU's recruiting success, while aiding in game preparation and player development.
